Merooj, Inc. (Persian: ???? ?) is a manufacturer and brand of athletic shoes, clothing, and accessories. The company was founded by Dr. Majid Saedifar who is the official physical therapist of the Iranian national football team. He cultivated companies from Iranian football based distributors to global marketers of footwear, clothing, and athletic equipment. The company has headquarters in Tehran, Iran, and Covina, California. It has several factories in Iran and other countries including China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Merooj is internationally recognized as an official apparel supplier for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.

Majid Saedifar was born in 1955 in Andimeshk, a small town in southwest Iran. After finishing his school, he went to Tehran to begin his university studies. He joined several football clubs. When he finishes his university, he has to do his military service, and he goes to Shahrbani football club (Pas Tehran). After a perfect performance, he was invited to the national youth football team of Iran. In this thick book, he is one of the most famous young football players in the country.
After several years, Saedifar went to the US to attend his lessons and career. There, he plays for local football clubs. Because of his experience in football, he chose physical therapy as his discipline at the university. After earning his master's degree, he began his career as a physical therapist in the US. A few years later, he expanded his business and set up several physical therapy clinics in California. While working as a physical therapist, he also earned a PhD.
Saedifar wanted to pay tribute to his country, and waited for a good opportunity to fulfill his wishes. In 2000, Iran's national football team was invited to a US tournament for the first time after the revolution in 1978. This was a turning point in Saedifar's professional life. The Iranian coach knew him very well from previous years, so they asked him to help the team as a physical therapist. Saedifar is Iran's official physical therapist for several years. Thus, he uses his experience and knowledge to introduce physical therapy among Iranian athletes and physical therapists.
The word means "ant" in Luri, and "my red" in French. The company now has several factories around the world, and competes in the international market.
