Bay State College (also known as Bay State or BSC) is a nonprofit private college located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, USA, the state capital.
Founded in 1946, Bay State College specializes in career-focused programs, particularly in business, information technology and health care. The university currently offers 15 degree and concentration programs, 8 associate degree programs, 1 certificate program, 2 graduate program partnerships, and 7 minors.
Bay State College has three divisions: Day, Evening, and Online. In 2013, the college set up a satellite location in Taunton, Massachusetts as part of the Evening Division.

History
Bay State College opened in 1946 to serve an industry, airlines, by providing students with direct skills and paying particular attention to a strong educational foundation. Then as it is now, the College is known for its small classes, individual attention, and a focus on a special career.
In 1961, Bay State College moved to its current location in Back Bay.
In 1975, Bay State College was initially allowed to grant an associate degree by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 1989, Bay State became accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges of New England (NEASC). In 2004, Bay State College was authorized by the state and NEASC to provide a bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, and Entertainment Management.
On November 20, 2017, Bay State College was purchased by Ambow BSC, Inc., a subsidiary of Delaware from the education and career company of China Ambow Education Holding Ltd. with an undisclosed amount.

Accreditation
Bay State College is accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges of New England (NEASC) to grant the following degree by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts: Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, Bachelor of Science.
The New England Schools and Colleges Association accredits schools and colleges in six New England states. Membership in one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States shows that schools or colleges have been carefully evaluated and found to meet the standards agreed by qualified educators.
Accreditation of Medical Assistance Program
The Bay State High School Certificate Program in Medical Assistance is accredited by the Accreditation Board of the School of Health Education (ABHES) and prepares students to take national certification exams such as the Medical Medication Admission Test (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT) and the Medical Assistant Certified Clinic (CCMA) exam from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Assistant Program Assistant Physical Therapist
Bay State College's Associate in Science Degree program in Physical Therapist Assistant is accredited by the Accreditation Commission in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). To be eligible to practice as a PTA in Massachusetts, graduates must take the national licensing exam.
Care Program Accreditation
Bay State College's Associate in Science Degree in Nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Nursing Education (ACEN). The Associate degree Care Program is awarded full approval status by the Massachusetts Registration Board in Nursing on 12 November 2014.
