Regional Peninsula Health Center is a non-profit hospital located in Salisbury, Maryland.
Founded in 1897 by Dr. George W. Todd with six beds in an old house, an institution once known as the General Hospital of the Peninsula has grown to accommodate about 300 beds. It serves nearly 500,000 patients each year in many specialties. Nearly 2,000 babies are born in PRMC every year. There are about 3,300 employees, placing it among Salisbury's biggest employers.
Outside the main hospital location, it includes a network of specialist doctors and families, laboratory networks and PRMC Home Scripts pharmacies, plus two health complexes in Millsboro, Delaware, and Ocean Pines, Maryland.
Steven Leonard has been president and CEO since January 2018.

Accreditation and rewards
The Regional Peninsula Health Center is accredited by the Joint Commission. Joint Commission Certification including Acute Myocardial Infarction; Joint Replacement - Hip; and Replacement Joint - Knee. This is also called the Primary Stroke Center for the Delmarva Peninsula.
