Newnan Piedmont Hospital (PNH) is a 136-bed acute care hospital located at its new location at 745 Poplar Rd in Newnan, Georgia, offering 24-hour emergency services, women's and general medical services/surgical services. Diagnostic services include CT, nuclear drugs, MRI, PET, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. A full range of medical/surgical services including laparoscopic surgery, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, sleep study and cardiac catheterization and rehabilitation, and wound/hyperbaric treatment.

"

History

Newnan Hospital was founded in 1836, 10 years after Newnan was founded. It served as the first aid site during Sherman March to the Sea. The facility was faced with competition in 1965 by Coweta County General Hospital (where the PNH was previously located). At the beginning of the 21st century CCGH in bankruptcy and in need of help.
